The Secretary for Finance attends the 2024 Institute of Chartered Accountants Tax Seminar

Director Xu Zhengyu delivered an important speech at today’s 2024 Association of Chartered Certified Accountants tax seminar. He emphasized Hong Kong's importance in financial affairs and treasury and pointed out the challenges and opportunities ahead.

He mentioned the important contribution of Dr. Fu Zhenhuang, Chairman of ACCA Hong Kong Chapter, to this seminar, and thanked all participants for their support and attention to Hong Kong financial affairs.

Commissioner Hui Ching-yu emphasized the importance of the tax seminar to Hong Kong’s economic development and encouraged participants to actively participate in discussions and explore solutions together.

He pointed out that as an international financial center, Hong Kong must continuously improve its competitiveness and establish closer cooperative relations with other regions around the world.

Finally, Director Hui Ching-yu once again thanked all participants for their participation and support, and looked forward to working together in the future to promote the development of financial affairs and treasury services in Hong Kong.
