Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po today (April 17) hosted the "Hong Kong - Cross-border Business Development of Mainland Enterprises" jointly organized by the SAR Government's Invest Hong Kong, the Economic and Trade Office in Shanghai, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation in Hangzhou. Attended and delivered a speech at the "Supply Chain Management Center" seminar.
Secretary-General Paul Chan Mo-po emphasized in his speech that Hong Kong has always been an important base for mainland enterprises to expand their international business. Through such seminars, Hong Kong and mainland enterprises can deepen cooperation and jointly explore best practices in cross-border supply chain management.
Secretary Chan Mo-po said that the Hong Kong government has been committed to promoting economic cooperation between Hong Kong and mainland enterprises. Such seminars not only help promote exchanges between companies on both sides, but also improve the efficiency and competitiveness of the entire supply chain.
At the seminar, participants discussed the future development trends of cross-border supply chain management and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions on how to further strengthen cooperation between Hong Kong and mainland enterprises.
Secretary Chan Mo-po called on Hong Kong and mainland enterprises to strengthen exchanges and cooperation to jointly cope with the challenges brought about by global economic changes. He said that only through cooperation can companies from both sides stand out in the fierce competition in the international market.
Finally, Director Paul Chan Mo-po was full of confidence in the future cooperation between Hong Kong and mainland enterprises. He believed that through such seminars, both parties would be able to better develop together and create a better future.
